Yokohama 21st,
Japan 2017-2018

Going to Yokohama from Nagoya, the Shinkansen offers some of the best views of Mount Fuji.

Yokohama architecture seems more modern than any other part of Japan that I have seen. Even Fukuoka, modern in contrast with Tokyo, is not as new. Skyscrapers dominate the city.

Yokohama is a city that surprisingly looks towards the sea. Situated in Tokyo Bay, the city is protected from the Pacific Ocean.

Yokohama hosts the largest Chinatown in Japan, it was established 160 years ago. I enjoy the streets decorations and some food.

My last stop of the day is the gorgeous Sankeien Garden. Not only the garden is amazing but the architecture is outstanding.
